Theme: The Kitchen

Temp Closed

Opens on Monday, April 1, 2024 12:00 AM UTC (in 2 days, 23 hours)

The 2024 theme is "The Kitchen".

Editor's tip: For much of recorded history, the kitchen has been the center—the heart—of the home. Food can bring people together or tear them apart. Important conversations happen around the kitchen table, kids learn self-sufficiency, and traditions begin in this space.

Accepted submissions for this anthology will be published in Tales from the Kitchen. This anthology is edited by Theresa Green.
Theresa is looking for well-developed concepts, inviting storytelling, clear description, and an occasional laugh to break the tension. Genre is yours to play with. I'll review pieces and contact writers with notes on a rolling basis during the call.

About the editor: Theresa is a co-founder of The Writer's Workout, developmental editor, and crime fiction writer. Her work is published in various literary magazines and anthologies under a pseudonym. www.premierliterary.com
