Before submitting please read the Submission Guidelines for each Genre.

All submissions must be in English. Simultaneous and previously published submissions are also acceptable if the Author retains the publishing rights. Please indicate this, with proper attribution details, of the previous publisher.

We suggest to all who submit that, they read the most recent Poetry/Fiction in inkiddos to acquaint themselves with the material we publish.

If your submission is accepted/shortlisted, we will send you an ‘acceptance/shortlisted email. Accepted submissions also will receive a ‘submission contract document’.

We strongly believe that every poem/story is emotions resonating with the universe and you will not receive a rejection mail.

General Submissions:

Due to the volume of submissions, editors may need One month to three months, to make the decision.

Submission Guidelines:

Short Fiction

+ Minors (below 18 yrs) only submit through their Parents or Legal Guardians.( or with their consent).

+ Include a 3rd person Bio of Author (Mentioning Age) with Photo as separate jpg attachment.

+ In One, word file, only one Short Story is allowed.

+ Only One Short Story per submission.( send separate submission for each Story)
+ Stories should run between two hundred and Two Thousand words.
+ Entries must be submitted in English, though authors may be located anywhere in the world.
+ Previously published work is eligible. Please indicate this, with proper attribution details, in your cover letter (Because we would like to give credit to them for publishing earlier.) The author should have publishing rights and copyrights.
+ Entries must not previously have been chosen the winner of any contest.
+ Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please indicate this in your cover letter. If your submission is accepted anywhere during this submission period, please withdraw your entry.
+ Multiple entries from a single author, submitted individually, are welcome.
+ Please do not insert graphics, images or video into your word file. Please use a widely available 12-point font (e.g., Arial, Times New Roman, Helvetica, etc.), with spacing set to single.

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

1. Send ONE MS Word document TITLED WITH Author’s Full Name . No pdf is accepted.

2. In the same MS Word document, include your contact information (name, email address). Also, list your home state and country.

3. In the same MS Word document, include a one-paragraph author’s bio, written in the third person. You are encouraged to include links to your books, websites, and social media accounts — we want to help promote you. (If you wish not to publish your identity you can always use a consistent ‘pen name’).

4. In the same MS Word document, include a note about your poem or creative process written in the first person (this is optional — but encouraged).

5. Send a photo of the author as a SEPARATE jpg attachment (not in the MS Word document). Title the photo with your last name.

6. In the subject line of the email, mention: Genre (Poetry/Short Fiction) – Your Name.

The Expert’s Corner

Are you a Child Psychologist/ Poet/Paediatrician/Social scientist/Teacher/Writer?

Or more precisely, do have any expertise to deal with children?

Inkidoss is looking for, Articles/Studies/Reports/Research Papers/Stories/Poems, which help the betterment of the creativity, mental health, or writing skills of children.

We understand the importance of the right guidance in the child’s changing growth and development needs.

Children/ kids/ toddlers/ adolescents, progress through different experiences, face physical or emotional challenges, and learn life lessons. To understand the development needs the parent or guardian has to understand the learning pattern of the individual child as each kid is unique with their special abilities.

We welcome the subject experts and conscious humans to submit their content as a Developmental guide that can be categorized by the following:

Literature and Language
Writing Skills
Mental and Physical Health
Child Safety
Fine Motor and Visual Motor Skills
Grooming Skills
Etc.

Include a 3rd person Bio and Head Shot.

Selected entries will be published in ‘ The Expert’s Corner’.
