Wisconsin Writers Association Student Writing Contest

Prizes:

1st Place in each will be awarded $100.00

2nd Place in each will be awarded $75.00

3rd Place in each will be awarded $50.00

*All winners will get a free one-year membership to the WWA and publication in our Wisconsin Writers Association Anthology. A copy will be sent to the student and the school they attend.

Student Writing Contest: Fiction

Submission Guidelines:
(Please read all rules. Incorrect or incomplete information will automatically disqualify your entry).

  • No charge to enter.
  • Awards for First, Second and Third place winners in both fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.
  • Pieces must be original work of the student – no works of other authors will be accepted.
  • Entries may have 1500 words maximum.
  • Each page must have student’s name, email, and school in the header.
  • No sex, profanity, or gratuitous violence.
  • Deadline to enter is Friday, March 31, 2023.
  • Entries must be submitted as doc or docx.
  • Double space and use 12 pt. font.
  • Please, no multiple entries.
  • All parts of the submission must be filled out correctly or entry will be disqualified.
