Q: If you publish writing, who are your favorite writers? If you publish art, who are your favorite artists?

A: Ocean Vuong, Hannah Cohen, Hanif Abdurraqib, Joanna C. Valente, George Abraham, Joyce Chong, Chen Chen, Isobel O'Hare, Hazem Fahmy, Francesca Bell, Paul Tran, Nadia Gerassimenko, Logan February, Alexis Bates, Romeo Oriogun

Q: What sets your publication apart from others that publish similar material?

A: We encourage marginalized and emerging poets to submit; our community benefits from growth and expression, and we're committed to helping that as much as we can.

Q: What is the best advice you can give people who are considering submitting work to your publication?

A: Read our issues. Read people we enjoy. Read and read and read and don't be afraid to submit.

Q: Describe the ideal submission.

A: Friendly and concise.

Q: What do submitters most often get wrong about your submissions process?

A: we have several individual branches to submit to depending on the media. please use them!

Q: How much do you want to know about the person submitting to you?

A: we do not mind (although you may send one if you prefer to)

Q: If you publish writing, how much of a piece do you read before making the decision to reject it?

A: Yes.

Q: What additional evaluations, if any, does a piece go through before it is accepted?

A: We as a team decide which pieces we enjoyed the most and base acceptances in this manner.
