Nonfiction Temp Closed

We call for essays that offer up a new perspective, an unvoiced thought, an overlooked association—and we hope that you will send us pieces that not only challenge us with their content, but also with their form. We prize the lyric and the language driven, both the sparsely stated and the indulgently ruminative.

Poetry Temp Closed

We seek restless, risk-taking poetry that wild{e}s about in untamed terrain. We value hybridity & innovation—the weird, the brute, the sensual, the occult; most of all we want to be surprised.

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Just remember…

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • Be professional, patient and persistent.
