About

TQ Review is the literary journal component of Damaged Goods Press. Like DGP, we are interested in publishing trans* and queer writers. While the content does not have to be trans* or queer, we ask that writers self-identify as such. We are not interested in political/polemical writing, but are instead seeking reflective, insightful, and lyrical writing that shines a light into the darker corners of trans* and queer culture. At DGP we believe in diversity and want to give a voice to a community that is oftentimes overshadowed by the LGB majority. Our guidelines are simple and straightforward because our goal is simple: to publish quality trans* and queer writing from community members. We are not here to police your identity or silence your voice. We want to showcase your unique experience.
