Space Westerns Magazine 3

About

Space Westerns Magazine exists because we were unable to find anything like it anywhere online—so we decided to create it. Space Westerns Magazine is the magazine of the Space Western genre. We publish works with themes from the Western genre set in the vast frontiers Outer-space or having some element of extra-terrestrial travel (think of it as Space Opera with Western-genre themes: it’s a little bit Country; it’s a little bit Space Patrol). We cater to fans of works that have been inspired (at least in part) by Western-genre fiction: Buck Rogers, Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Farscape, StarCraft, Firefly, Avatar, and many others (visit The (nearly) complete list of Space Westerns for more examples).

Important: Reprints only in some submission periods. Check guidelines for current details.
Limited Demographic: Submissions are restricted to African-Americans (except for reprints).
