About

Montana Mouthful is an independent literary magazine devoted to publishing short fiction and nonfiction, poetry, and visual artwork. Montana Mouthful began as a small group of writers, located in the glorious Treasure State, who decided to take the leap to help others publish their creative works. Montana Mouthful seeks material from established and emerging writers, poets, and visual artists from across the state, the country, and beyond. Although we ask for just a mouthful of your finest prose, we are still interested in strong stories; your words, though few, must carry tension.
