About

“Nostrovia” is the English mispronunciation of the Russian word for cheers. It is used as English slang for “let’s get drunk!” and as a common drinking toast. Nostrovia! Poetry is a publishing press dedicated to promoting poets and writers through zines, contests, nano poem collections, blogs, and other online medians. This particular contest chooses a winner every month, and spends the following month promoting them online. Unlike the previous weekly contest featured here, there is a prize for the winner, and that is a piece of literature shipped to the winner. Check the website for this month's prize.
