For over 25 years, Lewis-Clark State College’s student-run literary journal, Talking River Review, has featured creative work by some of this country’s best contemporary writers of fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. Past contributors include Kim Barnes, Mary Clearman Blew, Sherwin Bitsui, Judy Blunt, Michael Earl Craig, Claire Davis, David James Duncan, Stephen Dunn, Gary Fincke, Pete Fromm, Jim Harrison, Patricia Henley, William Johnson, William Kittredge, Dorianne Laux, Lee Martin, Ron McFarland, Neide Messer, Brenda Miller, Lia Purpura, Alberto Rios, Rob Schlegel, Michael Wasson, Joe Wilkins, and Robert Wrigley, among others.
