About

Spoke is a literary and arts publication cultivating a community-integrated outlet for artists and non-artists alike. Art originates in process, the interaction between ideas and environment. What is this environment, this place? What is its art, its identity? Spoke seeks original works of literature and art that can be reproduced in print or on our website. Works accepted are intended to form a dialogue on the theme guiding each issue; submissions might reflect a consideration of the theme. Submissions not thematically focused may be considered for future publications. Those who don’t consider themselves artists or writers are encouraged to submit alongside the established arts community.
