Anthology: Answering God's Call to Act Justly and Love Mercy Faith Journey Publishing

Dear Writers,

Submissions are now open, and we invite established and emerging Women of Color writers age forty-plus to submit for publication in our Annual Spring Anthology Vol. IV

We are looking for your personal story or an essay that revolves around the theme:

Answering God’s Call to Act Justly and Love Mercy

We are especially interested in how you have responded to this call through your lived experience(s) and how it has impacted conversations about justice and mercy within your local community or the global culture. Tell us how you apply this call to action and the principles that help you to ‘Act justly and Love Mercy,’ during times when it seems impossible.

In the spirit of Faith Journey Publishing’s commitments to celebrate faith, encourage, and inspire our readers, and in line with our dedication to fostering community and social action, we will not review or accept writing that is abusive or includes language of oppression, or that is contrary to our stated publishing commitments.

By submitting to Faith Journey Publishing you confirm that all your work and submissions are yours alone and that no part of your submission has been generated by any artificial intelligence (AI) content generator. We reserve the right to reject your work at any time in our review, acceptance, and publication process, including removal after publication, if we discover that content has been AI-generated or otherwise plagiarized.

We set a word limit of 800 for our anthology submissions. We kindly ask that you limit your story to no more than four pages in a Word document (12-point Times New Roman font). It is the maximum we will accept from our writers. Please follow this guideline, or your submission will be disqualified. Submission deadline is February 29, 2026.
