Still Point Arts Quarterly is accepting writing submissions (fiction, creative non-fiction, essays, poetry; 5000 words maximum) on the theme Fabric and Fashion: Uncovering Personal and Social Narratives

DATES AND DEADLINES

April 1, 2027 - Submissions Close (Deadline)

May 25, 2027 (or earlier) - Notification of Writers

June 1, 2027 - Still Point Arts Quarterly Summer Issue Released

GENERAL GUIDELINES AND POLICIES

  1. Please do not email or call us to ask about the review process or results. We will email you when we have made a decision regarding your submission.
  2. If we decide to publish your work, we will send a writing agreement for your review and signature. Typically we ask for one-time print and digital rights. You may republish your work at any time.
  3. Please know that we typically receive well over 100 poetry submissions, and we accept between 5 and 8. To keep things somewhat orderly, we limit all writing submissions to one piece per person.
  4. We do accept reprints.
  5. If we have published your work previously, we have no waiting period for submitting work again. We'll gladly accept good writing whenever we receive it.
