Generous Press

Generous Press is a publishing house dedicated to high-caliber, inclusive romance fiction and other books about love. We are a queer and Black owned independent press run by a small team, but our books have the potential for major reach with global distribution. Our books are written by brilliant LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and disabled authors, for a diverse community of readers. Our genre focus is romance, and our mission is to proliferate joy at a time when it’s in short supply. Together we envision a world in which all people feel cherished and free.

Each Generous Press author selected for publication will receive an advance on royalties of at least $3000 and robust distribution in print and digital formats.
