Grey Coven Publishing Anthology Series

Welcome to the coven. Our bi-annual anthology is released online and in paperback. Contributors receive a free ebook and we nominate for the pushcart prize and best of net.

We love dark, ethereal, weird, introspective work with surprising language and chaotic stories. Give us your limerence, your grief, and your yearning. If your work is too outlandish for traditional lit mags, we're interested.

We accept artwork, short stories up to a thousand words, and poetry up to one page in length. General submissions will always be free. We have a tip jar option that will guarantee an expedited (within one week) response.

Thank you for your interest in our publication. A few things to note:

If you are submitting multiple pieces, you may choose to put them in one file or have each piece in a separate file. If you choose to include them in one file, please make each piece the start of a new page.
Reprints are allowed. Let us know if the piece has been previously published. You must hold all rights at the time of submission.
Simultaneous submissions are allowed. Please inform us if it is a simultaneous submission and withdraw your piece as soon as possible if it is accepted elsewhere.
We only accept blind submissions! Do not include your name or any identifying information in your attachments. This prevents bias on our part. Thank you.

Poetry:

Submit up to five poems. Each poem must be no longer than one page in length. Poems should be formatted as a word document or pdf. Include trigger warnings if there is any triggering content out of respect for our staff.

Fiction:

We accept flash fiction up to 1000 words in length. Please submit no more than two flash fiction pieces per submission period. Flash fiction pieces must be word documents or pdfs. Include trigger warnings if there is any triggering content out of respect for our staff.

Visual art:

Submit up to 5 visual art pieces per submission period. Art should be formatted as .png, .svg, or .jpg. Refrain from including nudity in your visual art pieces.
