Limit Experience Magazine: Art Interviews, Creative Project Sounding Board Gold Star Program Gold Star

Limit Experience Magazine explores culturally staid ideas in the libidinal realm through direct contact with creative people and their audiences via interviews and dialogue.

Figuring Feral: The Great Ephemeral Skin Temp Closed

"That is, to be ourselves causes us to be exiled by many others, and yet to comply with what others want causes us to be exiled from ourselves." - Clarissa Pinkola Estes

"Sex is kicking death in the ass while singing." - Charles Bukowski

“Open the so-called body and spread out all its surfaces: not only the skin with each of its folds, wrinkles, scars, with its great velvety planes.” - Jean-Francois Lyotard

Submit well thought out fiction, creative nonfiction essays, poems, short films, photography, literary journalism and soundscapes that address the escaped, undomesticated side of the libidinal world. Consider the feral individually and collectively as well as the historical and the time based fabric of sexuality's chaotic universe.

We look forward to reviewing your work!

“The secret for harvesting from existence the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment is—to live it dangerously”- Michel Foucault

Limit Experience Magazine draws from a deep reservoir of philosophical thought to curate works of text, still and moving image as well as soundscapes to elicit fulfillment beyond the pale within its digital framework.

We are interested in reviewing creative endeavors that respond to the theory of limit experience as an element of change within the parameters of the magazine.

Feel free to explore the boundaries of the interview as an art form.

Interview style storytelling either fiction or nonfiction is welcome Works that explore the complexity of the art of interviewing in the literature, film, music and hybrid arts is encouraged. Depths of research and interview technique that reach a taboo realm are highly esteemed here at LEMagazine. Taboo areas of transparency should be the product of your communications with your subject, real or imagined.

We look forward to encountering your work.
