Lover's Eye Press: Issue 10

We are looking for contributors for our upcoming tenth issue which will launch in Fall of 2025

Poetry

• 2-5 poems of any length as a doc. or docx. file (PDFs will not be accepted).
• Format the name of your file as so: Submitter's full name_Poetry Submission.
• Be sure to include a cover letter and brief bio (about 50 words).

Fiction + Creative Non-Fiction

• Work should not exceed 7,000 words.
• Work should be submitted as a doc. or docx. file (PDFs will not be accepted).
• Format the name of your file as so: Submitter's full name_Fiction Submission or Submitter's full name_CNF Submission.
• Be sure to include a cover letter and brief bio (about 50 words)

Art

• 2-5 high resolution images attached as jpegs
• Please label your files as such: Submitter's full name_Art Submission
• Be sure to include a cover letter with a list of titles for your pieces, as well as a brief bio (about 50 words).

At Lover’s Eye Press, our goal is to help you share your obsessions and passions. With that in mind, we accept simultaneous submissions so you may get more of your writing and art out in the world. However, if your work is accepted elsewhere, please notify us immediately. Unless you wish to withdraw your entire submission, please specify which parts of your submission you’d like to withdraw so we may still consider the rest.

We do not accept multiple submissions at this time. Please submit only once per submission cycle. Additionally, we do not accept previously published works of writing, which includes anything that has appeared in print or online, whether that is another journal, a personal blog, or social media page. We also do not accept work created in any way with AI.

For visual artists, we do not accept work previously published elsewhere in a publication, but since visual artists use their social media to promote their artwork to collectors and for exhibitions, if your artwork appears on your own social media, that is permitted. We also do not accept any AI-generated art.

For publication, Lover’s Eye Press acquires First North American Serial Rights. After publication, rights revert to author. However, we humbly ask that should the work appear in another form — and we hope it does, whether it’s an anthology, chapbook, or collection — you include credit for Lover’s Eye Press.

*IMPORTANT NOTE*: We are an inclusive publication that privileges the human experience and works to support voices that are often discriminated against and disenfranchised. We will not accept any work that promotes racism, sexism, discrimination based on one's sexual identity, ableism, or any form of hatred. Moreover, we will not accept work that depicts graphic violence or the abuse of a person or animal for sensational purposes.
