This is a call for short- or flash-fiction, short creative nonfiction, or poetry, to be published in the Reading Room of the NornCrafts's website.

Everything, through NornCrafts, is aimed at illuminating and exploring the Power of Story.

At NornCrafts, we’d love to speak with you about publishing your well-written stories that illustrate the power of (yes) story.

This includes (but is not limited to) stories that:

illustrate the power of story within the tale
imprison us
through false narratives and/or
imposed obligations;
steal from us
time, money, energy, love…
manipulate us
fear of ostracism
fear of economic repercussions
fear of physical harm
belief in false hope
belief in superiority/egoic reward

free us by

guiding our choices and
empowering our identities;
teaching us (but not insisting on, or prescribing) by exploring ways forward, flagging—
how to recognize when we’re being manipulated
how to avoid buyins counter to our self interest
how to write our own stories
how to adapt stories we’ve told ourselves
how to recognize truths and/or agendas buried within stories
showing us how to recognize when we are being fed devaluing stories
illuminate how stories shape our lives.

As we move forward, we will learn and grow, and adapt this guideline.
