Brainchild Magazine Furnace Run Press

At Brainchild Magazine, we offer honors students an inviting space for expression. Based out of Kent State University, we are an arts and literary magazine seeking submissions from any and all majors. As a student-led project, we focus on amplifying the voices of our fellow creatives.

We might be the perfect home for your work: Past editions of Brainchild have featured contributors from every level of creative experience. As a print and digital magazine, we have published artworks in all disciplines including sculpture, drawing, and digital media. And, we accept a range of literary pieces such as poetry, short stories, and academic essays. We want it all, old or new: we encourage you to challenge the notion of what makes a creative.

You can be a part of this experience. What do you think the world needs right now? What do you need? What can you give? Your work will shape the theme of our magazine, so share your voice with us. Help us understand the world as you experience it—quiet your inner critic, take a risk, make an impact.
