Generativity Lit Mag: Roots and Wings: Youth Ages 8-17 Nonfiction Fee: usd $3.00

Generativity Lit Mag invites young writers ages 8-17 to share their creativity in our Spring Issue, Roots and Wings!

Our theme, Roots and Wings, is all about the things that make us who we are and the dreams that help us grow.

Roots are the people, places, memories, and traditions that make us feel connected.

Wings are the hopes, dreams, and courage to try something new.

Maybe you will write about:

• A special family tradition
• A friendship that helped you grow
• A place that feels like home
• A time you tried something new
• Growing up

There is no single right way to explore this theme.

For consideration, submit one to three poems, one short story or one essay. Please format and submit as a single document. We rarely publish anything 1,000 words or more for our youth section. We expect translators to acquire translation rights before submitting.

Submissions are $3.

All published works from youth will be first name only.

Payment and Copyright

Generativity buys first North American serial rights only. All other rights revert to the author at publication, but we offer formal, written reassignments upon request. We ask that whenever an author reprints work that first appeared in our pages, Generativity will be given acknowledgment for the specific work(s) involved. Work previously published in any form will not be considered. Please notify us if any part of your submission is known to be included in a book already accepted by a publisher and include the anticipated date of book publication. Additionally, the author grants Generativity a non-exclusive perpetual right to republish the work in any future print or digital anthology curated by Generativity, with proper contributor notification and complimentary copies.

All names will be first name if published in our youth section
