The Plentitudes: 2027 Plentitudes Prizes in Poetry Fee: usd $20.00

We are seeking submissions of poems for The 2027 Plentitudes Prizes in Poetry.

We are looking for pieces that are aligned with our philosophy: we believe in the power of writing—in its plentitudes of forms, styles, and modes of exploration—to move the spirit, shift the gaze, and offer new perspectives. We publish works from diverse contributors, from emerging writers to more established ones, and we especially love writing offering fresh perspectives and for the now. LGBTQ, BIPOC, and Disabled writers are particularly encouraged to submit. We are an international and multicultural journal, and welcome works from writers from all over the world. Guidelines:

• Up to 3 poems per submission, and no more than 10 pages combined, in ONE document.
• Unpublished work only.
• No AI-generated works unless the specific usage is fully disclosed and acknowledged.
• Simultaneous submissions permitted but please inform us as soon as you place the piece elsewhere.
• Format: .doc, .pdf, or .docx file.

We are a not-for-profit journal; to cover our administrative costs, we charge a reading fee of $20 per submission. Winners in each genre will receive $1,000; second-place winners will receive $300; and third-place winners will receive $200. Winners will be notified by email in March 2027 and published in the Journal's Spring 2027 Issue.

Our Poetry Guest Judge is erica kaufman, author of three books of poetry: POST CLASSIC, INSTANT CLASSIC (both from Roof Books), and censory impulse (Factory School).
