In addition to our general submission guidelines at the top of this page, the following additional guidelines apply to prose:

• Please use a readable font (e.g., Times New Roman) in 12-point
• Double-space your work (unless alternative spacing is necessary due to experimentation with form). Not doing so makes it difficult for our readers to review your work.
• You may submit one full length short story at a time, a minimum of 1,000 words and not to exceed 4,000 words. Flash under 1,000 words should be submitted in the separate flash category.
• While we strive to be writer centered and always generous to our submitters, we reserve the right to reject any submissions outright that do not adhere to our guidelines.
