The Fall issue of TrashLight Press is about what lingers, echoes, and refuses to let go even in death. We aren't just talking about ghosts, either. We want memories that won't fade. Share the versions of yourself you can't outrun. We want to see relationships that rattle through your bones long after the chapter is closed. Show us the cultural, personal, and emotional hauntings that seep into everyday life.

Show us what haunts you in quiet dread and unshakable feelings.

• Fiction that lingers like a breath on your neck while digging through psychological trauma, uncanny realities, and eerie vibes.
• Essays that dive into the memories, grief, and identities that won't release their grip on you.
• Poetry that echoes and claws its way through our psyche.
• Art that feels liminal, eerie, and absolutely possessed.
• Unclassifiable chaos is always welcome here.

We don't have a lot of rules around here, and we pride ourselves on a place where creatives have room to express their depths. The few rules we have, though, are sacred to us, so please keep them in mind.

• While we are open to adult themes, we do not accept anything classified as erotica or pornography.
• There is a limit of one submission per creator per issue.
• Please do not submit previously published work to our quarterly issues.
