Deadline: Tuesday, October 13, 2026 11:59 PM PDT (in 21 days).

Nonfiction: We accept pitches and full-length nonfiction pieces. Pitches should be thorough, well-articulated, and reflective of a clear direction for the full-length piece. For full-length pieces, we do not impose a word limit but generally prefer pieces that do not exceed 15 pages in length. If you are submitting a pitch, please include work samples as hyperlinks, a combined PDF, or as a collated document.

Fiction: Although we do not impose a word limit, we generally prefer pieces that do not exceed 15 pages in length.

Poetry: Poets may submit a maximum of 5 poems.

Bloodletter submissions are free from Sept. 22 - Oct. 13, and cost $3 from Oct. 14 - Nov. 3. If this submission fee presents a financial burden, feel free to email [email protected] for a waiver.
