2026 Halloween contest... We are accepting artwork/photography, poetry, and fiction up to 2000 words until October 9th. Winners will be announced the week of Halloween at www.hedgeapplemagazine.com.

Poetry: submit up to three pieces.

Artwork: submit up to three pieces.

Fiction: submit only one piece.

Entries should be anonymous! Judges will not be able to see your name or other information in the system. Please do not put identifying information in your file!

File types: .doc, .docx, .odt, .pdf, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tif, .tiff
Number of Pieces:
1 piece per fiction submission.
Up to 3 pieces per poetry submission.
Up to 3 pieces per art submission.
Single File: Not required; may include a separate file/link for each piece.

Anonymous submissions are required (no identifying information in files).
Simultaneous submissions are allowed.
Reprints are not allowed.
Multiple entries are allowed.
AI-assisted works are not allowed.
