Geri Digiorno Prize Raleigh Review (Gold Star Program) Gold Star

Geri Digiorno, Sonoma Poet Laureate (2006-2007) and artist, was founder and director of the Petaluma Poetry Walk. She studied art at College of San Mateo, Solano College, Sonoma College, and Santa Rosa Junior College, and worked at the homeless shelter in Petaluma teaching poetry and collage.

INITIAL SCREENERS INCLUDE: The Editorial Teams & Will Badger & Rob Greene.
JUDGES of the FINALISTS: Dorianne Laux & Joseph Millar

NOTE ON SUBMITTING MULTI-GENRE

The contents of each submission must be either:

  • 2 poems and a work of visual art (Possible Cover Inclusion)
  • 2 poems and a work of flash nonfiction (1000 word max on the flash nonfiction)
  • 1 poem and 1 work of visual art and 1 work of flash nonfiction.

    Visual Artists may use PDFs to submit art, but should be prepared with a high-resolution version of their files upon their work's acceptance to the magazine.

  • For the category, you can only select one so just select Poetry or Nonfiction or VIsual Art for all multi-genre submissions, and all submissions should be multi-genre. Submit all text in one file and all images in an add-on file.
