Raleigh Review Flash Fiction Prize

JUDGING
The Raleigh Review Fiction Team will serve as the judges.

PRIZES

GUIDELINES:

Opens Fee Free/TIp Jar Optional Submissions via Duosuma on June 1st - June 30th.
Regular Submissions Open via Submittable on July 1st - October 31st.
Submit up to two unpublished works of flash per entry.
Flash works should be no longer than 1000 words each, combine both stories in one file.
Entries are only accepted via our online Submission Manager.
Attached files should be free of personal identifiers such as name, address, phone and email, social media handles, etc.
Simultaneous submissions are acceptable. If one or more flash work is selected for publication by another magazine, please leave a note on your submission via our online Submission Manager.
Failure to meet guidelines may result in disqualification.
Current students or affiliates of Raleigh Review editorial staff and Raleigh Review board members are not eligible to enter.

This contest is open to writers who reside in the USA (regardless of immigration status).

Those who cannot pay the convenience fee are welcome to submit for free during this period via Duosuma.
This is on the honor system. As we all have other jobs and responsibilities outside of our work on Raleigh Review, we do not have time to review specific cases of hardship. Your personal situation is none of our business. While you are most welcome to share your bio and any details about your life, you are also welcome to keep this information to yourself as these fields are optional.
