Submissions:

• Submissions accepted from October 1-January 15
• Submit up to 3 poems, all in one document
• Poems of 20 lines or less work best for the broadside format
• Submit through Duosuma Submission Manager (button at bottom of page)

Submission Do's:

• Start each new poem on a new page within the single document
• Additional submissions of up to 3 poems per document are welcome! Please pay the submission fee for each individual submission
• Simultaneous submissions accepted. Please notify us immediately through the Duosuma submission manager if your poem is accepted elsewhere.

Submission Don'ts:

• Please, no previously published poems (this is new this year)
• Absolutely no submissions that are racist, homophobic, misogynist, discriminatory, or hateful.
• No AI-generated texts nor AI-modified texts. Human-created poems only.

Reading Fee:

• Pay-what-you-can reading fee via Duosuma tip jar through November 15th! We want to read your work & we don't want the reading fee to keep you from submitting.
• BEGINNING November 16, 2025: $5 reading fee per submission
• ALL submissions are read by LBP editors & readers with openness and attention, regardless of what you're able to add to our tip jar.
• All tip jar donations support LBP's mission to promote the poetry of self-identifying women and non-binary people.

The Poet of the Selected Poem will Receive:

• 25 (twenty-five) copies of the limited-edition handset letterpress broadside
• Praise, adoration, and promotion through social media, literary festivals, independent booksellers, & any other collaborations LBP seeks out.

Publishing Rights & Citation:

• Lefty Blondie Press holds first serial rights for work that we publish, and the right to reprint that work in other formats with your permission.
• Upon publication, all rights revert to the author.
• Please cite Lefty Blondie Press if your poems published with LBP are published elsewhere in the future.
