The Morton Marcus Memorial Poetry Contest Hive Poetry Collective The annual Morton Marcus Poetry Prize ($1000) is held in honor of the memory and work of Morton Marcus, whose life and work inspired thousands through his infectious belief in community, dedication to the work of poetry, and support of the arts. Annual deadline is September 30. The Prize is administered by The Hive Poetry Collective in collaboration with the Morton Marcus Poetry Committee, which hosts an annual Poetry Reading every November.
