Submission Guidelines

Prolific Pulse Press LLC is accepting submissions for poetry chapbooks, full poetry manuscripts, short story manuscripts, children's books, and novellas.

We do not provide illustrators.

A chapbook must have at least 12 poems but may contain more poems. Each poem needs to be on a separate page.

Include contact information on the title page.

Capitalize poem and chapter titles correctly.

Please do not capitalize all letters in a title.

Include Table of Contents and Page Numbers

Prolific Pulse Press LLC does not accept simultaneous submissions.

Poetry manuscripts must have 25 percent of the poems previously published in journals, magazines, anthologies. Properly punctuated acknowledgements are to be listed all on the same page, or a continuum if needed.

Please make sure all acknowledgements are current. If you have submitted a poem to a publication, and it is pending acceptance, do not acknowledge the poem in the manuscript.

All submissions must be in Times New Roman, 12-point font and a Word document. We will not accept PDF copies. Letter sized is required due to our editing process.

We publish in a dyslexic friendly font, no less than 12 point.

Our books are published with a dyslexic friendly font.

We create most of our books as 6 x 9 paperbacks, unless you specify otherwise, or the press finds a different size is more appropriate. Please be mindful of this when you type your poems. Please pay particular attention to line breaks and shape poems. Test these with a 6x9 inch format before submitting.

A cover letter and bio are required when submitting. Please include all contact information, including your phone number.

Prolific Pulse Press LLC is dedicated to working with poets and writers. We will edit your manuscript and suggest revisions. We expect active engagement from our clients.

Promotion/Marketing is the primary responsibility of the author. While Prolific Pulse Press LLC will provide some marketing materials, this is not the priority of the press and is a reasonable expectation for authors. In your cover letter, please outline your marketing plan.

Each author should maintain a website, blog, and social media presence. We will create an author page for you on this site if your book gets published. A photo of the author will be required for the author’s page.

Contracts are standard and include a royalty payment plan with no advance.

Absolutely NO Artificial Intelligence or AI is allowed. This is true for both art and text.
