An agent with Kathryn Green Literary Agency

About

22 members set this agent as a Favorite.

I love books. I always wanted my career to be somehow associated with books. My earliest aspiration was to be a librarian, but a high school guidance counselor pointed me towards journalism. My first job was working in the publications department of the Girl Scouts of America. From there it was a seismic leap to Penthouse magazine where I began as an editorial assistant and later became Fiction Editor, putting me squarely in my comfort zone—surrounded by books. Some years later after moving to and back from London and apprenticing at a friend’s agency; I decided to open my own literary agency where I thought I could happily nest amongst even more books. In the decade since then I have purposely kept my list small. I have a BA in Journalism from The George Washington University. I am a member of the Women’s Media Group and an advisory member of the National Council of the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University.
