Poetry Open

Some type of meter, such as iambic pentameter, is required (rhyme, alliteration, and other traditional techniques are good too!). We accept poetry on any topic, from beauty to humor to riddles to current affairs, as well as narrative poetry, which may be fictional. In terms of what we tend to accept, we have a history of publishing poetry that exposes human rights violations that have occurred or continue to occur under communism, especially the plight of Falun Dafa (aka Falun Gong) in China: Today, people who practice this peaceful and traditional meditation discipline face a genocidal persecution carried out by the Chinese communist regime.

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Just remember…

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • Be professional, patient, and persistent.
