Rinky Dink Press 16

About

rinky dink press (rdp) is on a mission to get poetry back in the hands (and pockets) of the people. To date, we’ve published over 80 single-author micro-collections in microzine form. Not only are we curating socially resonant poetry, we’re publishing it in a DIY container, one that resists the status quo and the rules of the establishment, one that’s redefining indie publishing within the world of poetics.

Submit thematically related micropoems (i.e. poems consisting of no more than 40 words each). Poems can form a cohesive narrative or adhere loosely to a theme of your choosing. Most importantly, we privilege finely-crafted verse, conscientious in its intent. FYI, micropoems are not haiku.

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Duotrope listings do not imply endorsement or recommendation of the project being listed. Before submitting, you should use your own judgment to determine whether the project meets your standards.

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • For book publishers, it is standard to submit a cover letter, synopsis, and sample instead of the full manuscript. Do this unless otherwise instructed.
  • Be professional, patient, and persistent.
