About

8th & Atlas Publishing was started in 2020 by Michael, Christina, and Brent De Paris. They are an entrancing brother/sister trifecta with a love for books and writing. Born and raised in the southern United States, they are currently living out chapters in the U.S. and Sweden. In representing the next iteration of this ever-morphing publishing industry, we’re delivering books that capture the imagination, tell untold stories, share arresting elements, and educate others on lived experiences. Fundamental to us as publishers are having integrity and operating according to ethical social, governance, and environmental standards. We achieve this by embracing individuality and rejecting hate and being available and amicable to inquirers and our readership; fomenting an egalitarian, inclusive approach to the production cycle; and utilizing responsible suppliers that minimize harm to nature. As stewards of authors’ works, we assist writers in sharing their craft and passion. We hope to be change agents, transmitting stories and knowledge in a way that’s emblematic of meaning-making. Our goal is to support best-in-class writers who wish to make their stamp on the literary world. Our objective is to distribute a medley of works that are creative, vital, and absorbing. As a multi-national collective comprised of a geographically dispersed authorship and production team, we’re keen to represent current and future generations of the publishing industry.

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Duotrope listings do not imply endorsement or recommendation of the project being listed. Before submitting, you should use your own judgment to determine whether the project meets your standards.

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • For book publishers, it is standard to submit a cover letter, synopsis, and sample instead of the full manuscript. Do this unless otherwise instructed.
  • Be professional, patient, and persistent.
