About

Arboreal Magazine came about when two friends and former co-workers, Chad M. Crabtree and Brandon Woods, sought to create something of value without being hindered by any kind of “profit motive.” In other words, we wanted to produce something for pure enjoyment—something to encourage creativity. The name Arboreal didn’t initially have any deeper meaning beyond the lyrical beauty of the word and its relevance to our names. Yet, after long discussion, we realized it is the perfect title for a publication committed to artistic growth and our “big picture” mission to help our readers and ourselves see the forest for the trees.
