Space & Time Magazine

A project of Yuriko Publishing (see other related projects).

About

Founded in 1966 by Gordon Linzner, Space & Time is one of the oldest continuously published semi-pro speculative fiction magazines still in print. For nearly six decades, the magazine has championed science fiction, fantasy, horror, poetry, art, and the beautifully strange.

Today, Space & Time publishes curated monthly issues of themed speculative flash fiction and poetry, carrying its legacy forward with bold new voices alongside names such as Jonathan Maberry, Alessandro Manzetti, Jessica Amanda Salmonson, Norman Spinrad, Jack Ketchum, and Aliette de Bodard.

Available globally through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, Kobo, and more, Space & Time offers ebook, standard print, large print, and dyslexia-friendly print editions so more readers can enter the strange.

Voluntary Fees: This project accepts voluntary fees for "tip jar" submissions.

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Duotrope listings do not imply endorsement or recommendation of the project being listed. Before submitting, you should use your own judgment to determine whether the project meets your standards.

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
