Glass Literary Management is a full-service literary agency designed to take a hands-on approach with book authors at every stage of the development and publication process. Alex Glass started his own agency after thirteen years at one of the largest literary agencies in the country because he wanted to give his clients the individualized service and versatility that come with a boutique agency. With every book, we offer our clients support from idea to publication and beyond, including: developing the concept and collaborating editorially; finding the best possible publishing partners and negotiating contracts; overseeing the marketing and publicity campaigns; and handling the foreign, film and television, and e-book rights. The publishing industry is constantly changing, and while our focus is to find our authors the best opportunities in traditional publishing, we are aware of the importance of understanding and exploiting the new and forthcoming ways that great writing can reach readers. Our goal is to manage our authors’ careers so they can reach the largest number of readers in the most formats now and long into the future. We work with the top professionals in the industry to maximize our clients’ success, including film and television agents, managers, and producers; publicists and marketing experts; foreign agents; speaker’s bureaus; freelance editors; and writing collaborators.
