Bridge Literary Arts Center

About this Organization

The Bridge Literary Arts Center is dedicated to the prosperity of literature, language and art in the greater western Pennsylvania region. The center holds writing workshops, collaborates on literature and visual art projects, offers writing coaching, holds an annual literary festival, and publishes an annual journal. Special events are held occasionally with musicians and regional artists.

Our Mission: The Bridge Literary Arts Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prosperity of creative writing and literature in the greater western Pennsylvania region, specifically the counties of Venango, Clarion, and Forest, but also is a "bridge" between our region and beyond: to nurture and provide opportunities for our regional writers, and to expose our area to the larger writing world, as well as bring that larger writing world to our region. The Bridge offers opportunities for writers of all levels and backgrounds through workshops and collaborations with other organizations to advance the Oil Region as a welcoming center for diverse voices and visions. We are affiliated with the Bridge Builders Community Foundation.
