About this Organization

Poets without Borders is back in action. Poets are the Doctors of the Soul. Poets Without Borders is built in the tradition of Doctors and Musicians without borders. We have gone through much over the last couple of decades, starting with Poets 4 Peace and our virtual memorial on peace instead of war. Hundreds of poets contributed to the effort, oh so early on the Internet. Peace, however, is a bit of a dichotomy and we felt there was something deeper underlying peace and war and that is human rights. So with passion on our side, we created Poets 4 Human Rights and for several years under that moniker we created readings all over the world. But soon that seemed a bit stale and stalled. It did not capture the full wake of our efforts. Poets Without Borders does indeed recapture the old passions and inflame the heart. Poets are the doctors of the soul and we have no borders just the aesthetic challenge to change the world, one poem at a time. We stand for integrity and the goodness of humanity. We are not backing off; we have just transformed and will be stronger than ever. Stay tuned. Poets are, indeed, the doctors of the soul!
