Wordstorm

About this Organization

Wordstorm, founded in 2007, has grown into a society that promotes the written arts through special events and monthly venues, such as Metaphorically Speaking, relevant workshops, and festivals. We are responsive to the needs of authors, poets, and writers of all literary genres who live and create in our region. Wordstorm is a welcoming space for both writers and those who appreciate the written and spoken word. Wordstorm encourages participation from those of all diverse backgrounds and lifestyles who live in and near Central Vancouver Island.
