Write Now! SF Bay

About this Organization

Write Now! SF Bay, fiscally sponsored by Intersection for the Arts, has expanded American narratives since 2015 by reflecting the complex diversity among Black, Brown, Indigenous, and People of Color. Our year-around workshops, events and publications have created a multicultural home base for 250 emerging and established BIPOC writers and artists aged 16 to 80. We reach across race, class, age and educational background to bring together a wide range of people. Their prose, poetry, and visual art reflect the complex realities of San Francisco’s 60% people of color. Our community includes the formerly homeless, educators, healers, activists, and just plain folks working for change in unique ways.
