Benjamin Paul Myers is a former Poet Laureate of Oklahoma and is the author of four books of poetry and three books of nonfiction. His work has appeared in The Yale Review, 32 Poems, New Verse Review, Rattle, and many other journals. His sonnet sequence, Black Sunday, was praised by the Wall Street Journal as one of the "Five Best Stories of the Dust Bowl." A contributing editor for The Front Porch Republic, Myers lives and writes in rural Oklahoma and teaches literature, creative writing, and Great Books at Oklahoma Baptist University.
