Andrew M. Bell writes poetry, short fiction, plays, screenplays and non-fiction. His work has been published and broadcast in New Zealand/Aotearoa, Australia, England, Israel and USA. His publications include "Aotearoa Sunrise", a short story collection; the poetry collections: "Clawed Rains" and "Green Gecko Dreaming"; and his most recent publication is "Travels in Eclectia", a collection of different genres of prose.

Growing up, Andrew lived all over the North Island/Te Ika A Maui, but moved to Christchurch with his wife in mid-2000. They have two sons, aged 27 and 23. Also, Andrew enjoys acting and he loves to surf.
