Bruce Abraham Non-Member New Journalism school, former magazine editor, grandpaFiction Nonfiction Bruce Abraham graduated in Journalism from Georgia State University where he was a writer and editorial cartoonist for the college newspaper. After an internship at the Atlanta Journal and Constitution newspaper, he began his career writing for magazines and public relations firms. He later moved into real estate and government service where he managed the redevelopment of the decommissioned 1,200-acre Fort Gillem Army base in Atlanta. As an economic development project, he organized 13 Georgia counties to secure a $42 million federal grant to build fiber optic broadband across North Georgia. Now retired, He and his wife of 47 years live in Cumming, Georgia. They have four grown children and three grandchildren.
