Carsten ten Brink is a Pushcart nominated writer, artist and prizewinning photographer, born in Germany and educated in Australian, American and British schools, all of which probably did him the world of good. He can’t stop travelling – rainforests, deserts, mountains, and African villages have hosted his tent. Based in London, he originally studied at the University of Cambridge. His writing has been published in Australia, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

In the last few years, an inexplicable obsession to writing projects has cut down his artistic studio time and distracted him from necessary music practice. He's kept up with photography projects and travel but I don't recommend you ask him to get on stage and perform any blues standards until he has spent some serious time with his instruments.
