Christopher Miguel Flakus is a writer of literary horror, SF, and weird fiction. His collection of short stories, "Schreber's Stomach," available on Alien Buddha Press, is an event horizon of high-weirdness. The recurring motif of loneliness, hollowness, and terror are all the more palpable the more a reader loses herself in the dark fabulism of the stories.

His work is often written as part of the SF subcategory of "Latinxpunk," a term Flakus coined with the publication of his first novella in "The Xochipilli Quartet:" "Flight of the Chicxulub," which combines high-octane action, a neon-noir tinted grime conflict between the exiled of Earth and their former home. This familiar cyberpunk territory is distinguished by a real optimism and dedication to justice. "Blending raw poetic prose with Aztec symbolism and the industrial grit of cyberpunk, Flakus crafts a visionary tale where love, loss, and rebellion collide."
