Fiction

Born in Hastings County, Hannah Brown currently lives in Toronto. Though she knows how, no one in Toronto has, so far, asked her to call cows. A former prize-winning screenwriter, Hannah Brown's short fiction has been published in literary journals and in one case, re-published in the critical edition of Emily Wilson's translation of The Odyssey, along with Margaret Atwood and Ocean Vuong. Her debut novel Look After Her was a Foreword Indies finalist and prompted invitations to read in Canadian cities and at the Leeds International Festival. Brown's collection of short stories, My Girl Harry is scheduled for publication in 2028.
