Idyll Wilder is the pen name of Shari Lee Wilder, a writer and editor whose work explores the strange intersections of history, myth, faith, and the uncanny. She writes historical fiction, horror, magical realism, and Southern Gothic.

Wilder is the founder and editor-in-chief of Belladonna’s Garden Literary Magazine and the creator of Idlewild House, a sanctuary for craft, conversation, and the untamed creative life.
