Lia Dae McClain is an illustrator living in Downeast Maine. Her work is inspired by wild forests, magical creatures, and the warmth of childhood memories. She works primarily in watercolor, gouache and pencil, always looking to create inviting textures and details. When not in her studio, she can be found tending the vegetable garden and wandering the woods with her dog, Miranda. Lia received her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Haverford College in 2020, and graduated from Lesley University with a Professional Certificate in Illustration in 2022.
