Lisa Christina St John Non-Member Joined 2017 A poet writing a memoir.Poetry Nonfiction Lisa St. John is a writer living in New York’s Hudson Valley. She is the author of Ponderings (Finishing Line) and Swallowing Stones (Kelsay). A Pushcart and Best of the Net nominee, Lisa’s writing has been published in numerous journals and anthologies, including Light, Entropy Magazine, Poets Reading the News, Boomer Lit, Chronogram, Sleet, redrosethorns, New Verse News, Grande Dame, Pratik, and Tales to Inspire: Moonstone Collection. Her awards include Winner of The Poet’s Billow’s Bermuda Triangle Contest and first place in Anthology’s 2024 Poetry Award. A workshop junkie, Lisa takes writing classes online and in person whenever she can. She believes that art is hope and that there is beauty in possibility. Her essays and memoir excerpts have been published in magazines and nonfiction collections. When poems allow, Lisa works on her Substack, Widow’s Words, and her memoir.
